The Journey is a two-day retreat weekend for high school students — full of honest conversations, genuine community, and a whole lot of laughter. Come as you are. Leave knowing you're loved.
We believe every high school student deserves a space to ask big questions, find real answers, and discover the love God has for them.
Each retreat weekend features 11 talks from youth, adults, and clergy — all centered on the love, mercy, and grace God has for every person in that room.
The bonds formed on a Journey weekend last far beyond Sunday afternoon. Students leave with friendships and a community that walks life alongside them.
Between the laughing and the learning, the praying and the participating, something happens. Students show up one way and leave a little more themselves.
A Journey weekend is anything but boring. Expect games, music, great food, and the kind of late-night conversations you still think about years later.
We run two retreats each spring and two each fall, welcoming students from Galesburg and surrounding communities.
Kick off the spring season with a weekend full of talks, activities, and community. Open to all high school students ages 14–19.
A second chance to experience The Journey this spring. Same great program, same incredible community, new weekend.
"I came not really knowing what to expect. I left knowing I was loved — by the people in that room and by God. The Journey changed my life."
